What is CMC?

Set up in 1998 as a department of the Ministry of Law, the CMC provides mediation – a type of conflict resolution service - to residents in Singapore who face relational, community and social disputes.

*The settlement agreement is a private contract. A breach may result in civil proceedings if initiated by the parties. We strongly encourage parties to try mediation again and identify new solutions if breach occurs as it is less likely to create further tension.
