This year's Tampines Town Council Photography Competition challenged you to explore the "hidden gem" parks and gardens in Tampines! The judges had a tough time shortlisting the winning entries as there were more than 200 beautiful photo entries. The photographs captured the beauty of our green spaces and how they hold a special place in your hearts.

Here are the winning entries for this year's competition!
1st Prize - Lam Wenjie
Tampines Eco Green
Tucked in a corner, away from the crowd, this makes a great spot for the bird-lovers to observe bird species that are seldom or rarely seen in the more urban parks and gardens.
The best time to visit is around the evening during sunset.
2nd Prize - Gwenn Chen
Tampines Eco Green
Tampines Eco Green is indeed a hidden gem tucked at the corner of Tampines Ave 9.
It's peaceful and is surrounded by luscious trees and a beautiful pond. This is the place where you can be close to nature and wildlife.
I found a tortoise by the pond and saw beautiful flowers on the wooden benches.
This is an idyllic place to be after a long day at work.
3rd Prize - Chong Li Beng
Tampines Cultural Hub
Tampines Cultural Hub has become popular as the best spot to view the sunrise.
The circular walkway, unique sculpture and interactive playground, and fitness corner make this place great for family and friends to gather.

Tampines Eco Green
Tampines Eco Green is perfect for a quiet and relaxing stroll. One can be with nature as the park is surrounded by trees and has a beautiful pond. The park is also home to many biodiversities, and it’s a great getaway from the urban jungle.

Tampines Leisure Park
Hidden behind East Spring Secondary School is Tampines Leisure Park. This cozy park has various fitness equipment and a playground for residents to enjoy.

Maze Garden
The Maze Garden is more than just a visual feature. There are three different mazes within the Maze Garden, and they offer residents a little fun within their neighbourhood. These mazes can be viewed at a bird’s eye view from the nearby HDB blocks.

Tampines Eco Green
Tampines Eco Green is a beautiful secluded park which surprises you as it doesn't feel like an urban city park. Unlike many other parks, it's surrounded by natural biodiversity. It is not manicured and allows wildlife to thrive in their natural environment and humans to co-exist within this beautiful patch of greenland.

Tampines Eco Green is a place away from the hustle and bustle. You can find beautiful reflections of the blue sky and fluffy white clouds and a family of turtles sunbathing beside the pond. All these make this place a hidden gem! What a peaceful park we have in Tampines!

Tampines Green Forest Park
Tampines Green Forest Park is new and very close to my block. There is a playground with a high-element feature where children enjoy playing. It is a perfect spot for children to play and have fun.
2nd Prize: Lim Sze Hui
Maze Garden
The Maze Garden is located very near Our Tampines Hub, but not many residents know of it. Residents are often seen working out at the fitness corner while the young children can be seen playing in this open space in the evening. It is also a great place to catch the sunset!
3rd Prize: Tan Hock Siong

A preschool excursion trip to Garden@228 where kids can have fun and interact with nature.

Play @ West is very popular among residents who enjoy outdoor activities. A group of parrot lovers meets here regularly to train their parrots in the evening. Their presence never fails to attract curious residents. It is a true hidden gem.

The highlight of Tampines Cultural Hub is the distinct white wave-like structure with an ascending bridge.
It's a nice place to visit with another person and stand at the top of the bridge to enjoy the view.

Tampines Green Community Planting Garden: A spacious garden for residents to exercise and walk their pets.

Not many residents can see the beauty of this maze when they are walking.
It is when they get to the higher ground then they will be able to see the maze.

Today, I went on an adventure together with my mom to Tampines Eco Green. I was amazed as it was my first time here in this enchanted forest-like park. There is even a lake with a family of turtles, and many roosters were seen around the park.
